AVES has a decade of experience and trust in terminal operations and services. The first terminal was commissioned in 2002 with 24.000 m3 capacity which was actively used for supplying gasoil & gasoline to Turkish and Iraqi markets. The capacity has increased almost 10 times in less than 10 years and reached to 220.000 m3 by 2010; 200.000 m3 for clean oil products and 20.000 m3 for edible grade vegetable oil.

In 2011, oil and vegetable oil terminals has merged under a single umbrella and the company concluded a successful joint venture with NuStar Terminals which is a US based independent oil Storage Company. NuStar Energy L.P. is a publicly traded, limited partnership based in San Antonio, with 8,433 miles of pipeline; 84 terminal and storage facilities that store and distribute crude oil, refined products and specialty liquids; and two asphalt refineries and a fuel refinery with a combined throughput capacity of 118,500 barrels per day. The partnership's combined system has approximately 96 million barrels of storage capacity. One of the largest asphalt refiners and marketers in the U.S. and the second largest independent liquids terminal operator in the nation, NuStar carries out its operations in the United States, Canada, Mexico, Netherlands, United Kingdom and Turkey.

Terminals are connected to a unique off-shore vessel berthing platform called SAVKA. The platform has great advantages in terms of its LOA / Draft / Beam / DWT restrictions and state-of-the-art HSE features and it gives the traders and ship-owners the comfort of safer operations. The jetty can be used to do safe ship to ship transfers as well since 2 Aframax size vessels can be served at the same time.

SAVKA Platform is connected to Aves Terminals with 5 pipelines of 6 kilometers length each and 10", 12", 14" (x2) and 16" pipelines. 10" pipeline is dedicated to vegetable oil operations and the others are used for handling clean oil products.
